The Burial of My Grandma

A member shares a family testimony of bereavement, remembrance, and the support received through UKZChema.

The story follows the difficult journey of saying goodbye to a beloved grandmother while honouring family, culture, and dignity at a painful time.

It is a reminder of why the association exists: to stand together when families are grieving, to help carry the practical burden, and to keep our spirit of ubuntu alive even far from home.

  • Family remembrance across generations
  • Community support during bereavement
  • A testimony of dignity, gratitude, and togetherness
